Oh hello! Welcome to The Tummy Diaries, created by me, Lottie Drynan; a twenty-seven year old foodie who’s passionate about not letting my IBS and food intolerances get in the way of living my happiest little life.
By day I’m a full time events manager and by anytime-I-get-five-minutes I’m an excitable little snapper trying to share tips, tricks and outfit ideas in the hope to get you loving life, and your body again. I write a lot about my experience with IBS and tummy problems and love sharing #mybloatedwardrobe finds along with gluten free and low FODMAP recipes. You’ll also find some lovely little travel tips, favourite lifestyle and foodie finds and even thoughts on my twisty journey with mental health struggles.
#mybloatedwardrobe is my biggest passion and favourite thing to share. It was born after I had enough of crying into bodycon dresses or walking around trying to disguise the fact that my jeans were so far undone I’m surprised I didn’t get a written warning in the office. Over the past few years I’ve completely revamped my wardrobe and now base my outfit choices on a few select bloat-friendly criteria categories (as you will get familiar with on this site) that keep me feeling comfortable and confident even when my tummy isn’t feeling it’s best.
I’d like to think of this blog, and my Instagram account @thetummydiaries as somewhere you can go for inspiration, positivity and comfort; and know that whatever you’re going through with your health, you are not alone.
The slightly-serious stuff
Please bear in mind that all of my advice is written from a personal experience perspective. I am not a medical professional and am only sharing what works/doesn’t work for me. If you are experiencing ongoing health issues or undiagnosed regular and/or painful bloating or any other symptoms, I cannot urge you enough to take a trip to your GP – and do not give up until you have answers!
On another note, I am working very hard on my content to try and produce some stuff that really helps others. This takes up lots of my time so occasionally you will sometimes find some sponsored posts. I’m always super clear about what’s sponsored, or even gifted and would only ever post about products that I genuinely love and would pay for with my own money. I also use affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission from the brand for sourcing and sharing the products, however it won’t cost you any extra. If you would rather not use the affiliate link then just clear your browser
